Hi Tommy,

The 240V socket under the seat id designed to deliver 300 W max. That means about 1.25Amps.
Not much. I run a little fridge/freezer off mine and you could also run an electric blanket.
I think it was really designed for running a laptop.

Cheers

"Continuous maximum output of 300W" according to the Buzz Cargo brochure.
Here's a great piece on camping in the Buzz https://www.theverge.com/23735554/vw-id ... -e-vanlife, which includes some info on the 230V option. Confirms 300W output with 450W surge. No camp mode unfortunately so power switches off after a while. That's a pain for me as I want to use my Cargo to sleep in with an electric blanket and to charge my e-bike.

That’s quite disappointing, given it’s lifestyle pretences, I was hoping to run a Vango induction hob which is 800w.

Does feel like the vehicle was designed by people who didn’t consult the end users.

Shame.
